What will my little one be doing? From ages 3 and up, your kiddos will be learning lessons from the Bible. The ECM uses the Elevate Jr. curriculum, as well as the Hands-On Bible Curriculum. Both of these curriculums are hands-on and super fun for the kids! Infants through two year olds will enjoy an hour of free-play, story time, and snack time.

ELEMENTARY MINISTRY—KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 4TH GRADE

8:30am —K-4th grade students attend class after the doxology the 2nd through 4th Sunday of the month.
9:45am —K-4th grade students meet in the Children’s Worship Room (218) for a full hour of Children’s Worship.

What do the elementary kids do?   Each week, the kids are engaged in lessons that are fun, interactive, and true to God’s Word. Elevate is a popular curriculum that is widely used and is known for it’s high energy! Your kids will love getting to play games, sing songs, meet with small groups, all while learning important truths from the Bible!

Why is it called Children’s Worship? It is called Children’s Worship because Pastor Larry mirrors what we do in “Big Church,” by including opening songs, the Lord’s prayer, an offering, and of course, the message!

How can my kids connect outside of Sunday morning? Fishers UMC offers many opportunities for kids to get engaged in our community. From Upward Basketball, the Christmas musical, seasonal events, an All-Church Retreat, your kids are sure to have a blast!

5TH AND 6TH GRADERS

9:45 Sunday School—Room 203

How can my pre-teen get connected? 6th grade students have the wonderful opportunity to begin a confirmation journey each January. There are also opportunities for the 5th and 6th graders to provide childcare at Parent Night Out, volunteer in the Early Childhood Ministry classrooms, and much, much more!

safety policies

The safety of children is very important to Fishers UMC. All staff, volunteers, and lay persons working with children must complete a background check every two years. The following policies and procedure are in place to protect the children and their families.
