FAQ

What do the elementary kids do?   Each week, the kids are engaged in lessons that are fun, interactive, and true to God’s Word.  We use several different curriculums including: Elevate, known for it's high energy and Group's Dig-In and Hand's On curriculums, both known for being interactive! Your kids will love getting to play games, sing songs, meet with small groups, all while learning important truths from the Bible!

Why is the 9:45 hour called Children’s Worship? It is called Children’s Worship because we mirror what is done in “Big Church,” by including opening songs, the Lord’s prayer, an offering, and of course, the message!

How can my kids connect outside of Sunday morning? Fishers UMC offers many opportunities for kids to engage in our community.  From Upward basketball, Vacation Bible School, Parent Night Outs, Christmas caroling, community-based mission projects, multi-generational events, and seasonal events, your kids are sure to have a blast!

How can I serve alongside my kids? There are lots of ways to be a part of the Fishers UMC Kids team! One of the most profound and rewarding ways to serve is by leading a small group during Children's Worship or teaching during the Discipleship hour.  To register to volunteer or to learn more, contact Jenica at .
